The Opportunity

You'll play a central role in supporting the operations of an established Assisted Living Facility in Staten Island. As Assistant Administrator, you'll work alongside the Administrator to ensure residents receive excellent care, staff stay coordinated, and the facility meets all regulatory standards. This is a hands-on leadership position built for someone ready to advance in healthcare administration.

Your Day-to-Day

• Partner with the Administrator to manage daily facility operations and keep workflows running smoothly
• Monitor and maintain regulatory compliance, ensuring all documentation is current and audit-ready
• Coordinate staff scheduling to maintain consistent coverage and quality of care
• Serve as a point of contact for resident services and family communication, addressing needs promptly and professionally
• Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate records, and track key facility metrics
• Support survey readiness by keeping policies up to date and ensuring the facility meets compliance standards at all times
• Assist with the admissions process and handle additional operational tasks as they arise

What We're Looking For

• Education/Background: Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
• Experience: Prior work in an assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare setting is a plus
• Organizational skills: You manage multiple priorities effectively and stay detail-oriented under pressure
• Communication: You're a clear, professional communicator — with staff, residents, and families alike
