Job Description

Why Altheda?

Altheda Medical Center is building a scalable outpatient healthcare platform—starting with one high-performing flagship clinic and expanding thoughtfully over time. We combine clinical excellence with operational rigor and a culture that rewards ownership, speed, and integrity.

The Role
The Chief of Staff is the direct associate to the Managing Partner driving execution across the highest-priority initiatives. This is a high-trust, high-pace role for a generalist who can pivot across healthcare administration, operations, systems, vendor management, and expansion projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate leadership priorities into executable plans, timelines, and measurable deliverables.
  • Run cross-functional projects across clinical operations, administrative operations, and strategic operations.
  • Build operating rhythms: weekly priorities, action-item tracking, meeting cadences, and follow-up systems.
  • Lead systems implementation projects (workflows, tooling, dashboards, SOPs, training materials).
  • Support expansion initiatives (market research, site diligence support, vendor coordination, early-stage planning).
  • Develop internal reporting: KPI definitions, performance scorecards, and operational insights.
  • Operate with confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment (HIPAA-aware).

Who you are?

  • Exceptional ownership: you don’t wait to be told; you anticipate, clarify, and execute.
  • Strong judgment and discretion—this role sees sensitive operational and personnel information.
  • Operationally fluent: you can build systems, not just slide decks.
  • Analytical: comfortable in Excel/Sheets; can build dashboards and use data to prioritize.
  • Clear communicator with strong writing skills (SOPs, memos, stakeholder updates).
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, on-site environments where priorities change quickly.

Preferred Backgrounds (Not required)

  • Healthcare operations/administration, consulting, project management, or startup operations.
  • Experience implementing software/tools or leading process improvement.
  • MBA/MHA/MPH or equivalent experience.
  • An open minded problem solving attitude.

Compensation & Growth

  • $75,000–$120,000 base salary depending on experience.
  • Performance bonus potential tied to operational milestones.
  • Significant growth runway as Altheda expands (operations leadership track).

How to Apply

Submit your resume and a brief note (300 words) describing: (1) a complex project you ran end-to-end, (2) how you handle ambiguity, and (3) why Altheda. Selected candidates may complete a problem-solving exercise.
