Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Cocos2d-x Junior Game Developer, where your contributions will directly impact the training of next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will leverage your game development skills to create high-quality, real-world inputs that shape how AI models learn and perform. Your domain knowledge is invaluable, and no prior AI experience is required. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine game logic, mechanics, and features using Cocos2d-x for both prototype and production-level projects.
• Collaborate closely with the customer’s team to provide high-quality real-world input for AI training processes.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot game assets and scenes to support a diverse set of training objectives.
• Test, debug, and optimize Cocos2d-x code to ensure robust and efficient gameplay experiences.
• Document code and processes thoroughly, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Engage in open, clear written and verbal communication to report project status and challenges.
• Work iteratively in response to feedback, consistently improving deliverables for AI development needs.

• Solid knowledge of Cocos2d-x and hands-on experience with 2D game development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a game development context.
• Experience collaborating remotely with distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, focusing on clear, concise updates and documentation.
• Ability to follow technical specifications and adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Understanding of game design principles and player experience optimization.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a dynamic AI training environment.

• Experience working on projects for AI training or data generation purposes.
• Familiarity with additional game engines or programming languages.
• Background in collaborating with AI or machine learning specialists.

Contract position with remote work flexibility.

Hourly rate ranging from $50 to $110.
