We are hiring a highly experienced **Senior Data Engineer** to build and optimize modern cloud data platforms supporting executive analytics and business-critical reporting.
This role requires deep expertise in SQL, distributed data systems, and cloud-based lakehouse environments. You will design scalable data pipelines, develop high-performance transformations, and support executive dashboards and KPI frameworks.
**Responsibilities**
* Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion → transformation → reporting)
* Build high-performance SQL models (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, tuning)
* Develop scalable solutions in Snowflake and/or Databricks
* Implement Delta Lake or modern lakehouse architecture
* Optimize distributed processing using Spark / PySpark
* Build dimensional models (star schema, snowflake schema)
* Implement data validation, monitoring, and SLA controls
* Support executive dashboards and leadership reporting
* Collaborate directly with stakeholders to define business metrics
**Required Skills**
* Expert SQL (query optimization, execution plans, window functions)
* Snowflake or Databricks (strong production experience)
* Spark / PySpark
* Python for transformation and automation
* Airflow or similar orchestration tools
* Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)
* Strong data modeling experience
* Experience supporting executive-level analytics
**Preferred**
* Kubernetes / containerized workloads
* Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake
* Kafka or streaming pipelines
* Great Expectations or similar data validation tools
