About Us:
Dune Dwellings is a small, family-run business based in Michigan City, IN. Our properties are listed on Airbnb, VRBO, and our direct booking site, dunedwellings.com. We take pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spaces for our guests, and we recognize that a dependable and detail-oriented cleaning team plays a key role in delivering that experience.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking additional cleaners to help maintain our properties during the busy vacation season in Michigan City and Valparaiso.

Position Overview:
We are looking for dependable and detail-oriented cleaners to join our team. The role will primarily involve cleaning our properties in Michigan City and Valparaiso between guest check-out (10 AM) and check-in (4 PM). Flexibility is important, as some cleans may need to start earlier or take additional time based on the property’s condition. We are happy to work with you to accommodate your schedule if you already have other cleaning jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare vacation rental units between guest stays (bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms)
• Change bed linens, restock toiletries, and ensure all amenities are set up for incoming guests
• Clean and sanitize high-touch areas, appliances, and surfaces
• Report any maintenance issues or damages found during cleaning
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed
• Optional: Assist with basic maintenance tasks, inventory checks, or running errands as necessary

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Ability to clean between 10 AM and 4 PM, with flexibility to start as early as guest check-out
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness
• Familiar with Turno, we use it to schedule cleans and pay our cleaners
• Must provide two professional references with contact information

Compensation:
Cleaners receive 100% of the advertised cleaning fee, which guests pay directly. We believe in fairly compensating our team for their hard work and dedication.
