We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Custodian to support cleanliness, sanitation, and operational standards within our large-scale cultivation facility in Flint, MI. This role is critical to maintaining a clean, compliant, and safe production environment that meets cannabis regulatory and food-grade sanitation standards.
The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or warehouse cleaning , takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of cleanliness in regulated environments.
Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of cultivation rooms, hallways, processing areas, and common spaces
Clean and disinfect floors, walls, drains, equipment exteriors, and high-touch surfaces
Safely handle and use industrial cleaning chemicals and supplies
Remove waste, debris, and recyclable materials according to company procedures
Support deep-cleaning projects between cultivation cycles
Follow all SOPs, safety guidelines, and compliance requirements
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or sanitation concerns promptly
Maintain accurate cleaning logs and documentation as required
Previous experience in industrial, warehouse, agricultural, or manufacturing cleaning preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Must be able to pass background check and meet cannabis employment requirements
