Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related fields At least 3 years of direct sales experience in the life science, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical research market Proven experience selling research chemicals, small molecules, biochemical reagents, APIs, or related products Demonstrated experience selling directly to universities, research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, and CRO/CMO organizations Strong sales mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Fluent spoken and written Japanese (mandatory) Legal authorization to work in Japan Independently manage and grow sales of MCE’s life science research products, including: Biologically active small molecules Inhibitors and agonists Compound and screening libraries Biochemical reagents APIs and natural compounds Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets within the Japan territory Promote the MedChemExpress brand and full product portfolio to academic and industrial research customers Develop new customers while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing accounts Conduct regular customer visits and manage the sales territory efficiently Provide professional responses to customer inquiries related to products, pricing, availability, and order status Work closely with internal teams (BD, marketing, and technical support) to support product promotion and market development Collect and analyze local market and competitor information, and share insights with the regional and global teams Participate in scientific conferences, exhibitions, and marketing events to generate new leads and strengthen brand presence Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, order follow-up, delivery coordination, and after-sales support
