• Coverage Dates: June 24th–26th and November 10th–12th
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Days: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Preferred Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (other options may be considered)
• Floating: Not Applicable
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 10–15 patients per day
• Case Mix: Radiation Oncology and cancer treatment management
• Acuity Level: Adults acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Trauma Level: Adult Level III/IV
• EMR System: Epic
• Automated Medication Dispensing System: Pyxis
• Practice Setting: Clinic Setting
• Support Staff Available: 1 Provider, 1 NP, 1 LPN
• Special Designations: Level 1 Perinatal Center, SAFE Designated Center, Primary Stroke Center, DNV Accredited Facility
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Credentialing Requirements: NY license in hand required
• Work History Requirements: Updated work history required with no gaps greater than 30 days
• Malpractice Requirements: Physician statement required for any malpractice history, dismissed or active

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active NY State license required
• Board: Must be Board Certified
• Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Radiation Oncology experience required
• EMR Experience: Epic experience required
• Other Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Radiation Oncology coverage during physician vacation coverage periods
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized radiation treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and manage treatment side effects
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
• Ensure high-quality patient care and treatment coordination
