Safety Coordinator

Saveway is a small but industry-leading company specializing in refractory monitoring applied to various types of molten metal processing. We are currently seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and maintain our company’s safety programs and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a safety or compliance role is required
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• High school degree required, additional education and training is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manage safety compliance across customer portals (ISN, Avetta, GateFeed, etc.) and maintain required documentation and certifications
• Coordinate and track employee safety training, including OSHA, site-specific requirements, First Aid/CPR, and ongoing education programs
• Maintain and review safety policies, reports, and technician paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Oversee PPE inventory, distribution, and tracking for new and existing employees
• Perform routine safety checks, inspections, and report (vehicles, equipment, fire extinguishers, etc.)
• Work with customers and internal teams to ensure job site safety requirements are met
