Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating extensive technical skills and business impact.
  • 6+ years in senior IT infrastructure and networking roles, preferably in enterprise or financial services settings.
  • Proven experience supporting high availability networks and systems, secure remote access, and resilient branch connectivity.
  • Expertise in Cisco Nexus ACI (fabric design, tenant/VRF/EPG policies, L3Out, contracts) and Cisco Catalyst/Meraki (campus switching, wireless, SD WAN).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise Wi-Fi design and operations (RF fundamentals, WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS).
  • Proficient with Palo Alto Networks technologies (Panorama policy management, Next-Gen Firewall, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect).
  • Familiarity with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VPC/MLAG), QoS, and multicast.
  • Experience with network monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Meraki Dashboard, DCNM/APIC, Panorama, SNMP/NetFlow/IPFIX).
  • Relevant certifications preferred: Cisco CCNP Enterprise/Data Center, CCIE, Cisco Meraki; Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, PCCSA; Prisma Access Specialty; CWNA/CWNP; CompTIA Security+, CISSP.
  • Financial services background not required but considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and establish robust LAN/WAN architectures for branches, headquarters, data centers, and cloud infrastructures.
  • Develop standards for Cisco Nexus ACI fabrics, including tenants, VRFs, EPGs, and contracts, as well as Catalyst/Meraki campus networks.
  • Plan and enhance enterprise Wi-Fi solutions, including RF site surveys, channel/power planning, and high-density coverage.
  • Deploy and configure Cisco Nexus ACI, Catalyst/Meraki switches and APs, and apply SD WAN solutions.
  • Implement Palo Alto Networks firewalls and centralized management through Panorama, as well as Prisma Access for secure remote connectivity.
  • Construct standardized network services such as routing (OSPF/BGP), switching (VPC/MLAG), QoS, NAT, DNS integrations, and VPNs (site-to-site and remote).
  • Monitor daily network health, conduct performance tuning, and manage capacity planning while troubleshooting complex L1-L7 issues.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team to enforce zero trust principles and manage firewall policies while supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Employ APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and scripting to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide exemplary support to internal teams and branch staff, ensuring clear communication regarding status and impacts.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing through training and best practices.
