Position: Supply Chain Director Materials Management (Healthcare)

Location: Alabama

Compensation: Up to $125,000 base + 10% bonus potential

About the Role

FocusPoint is partnering with a respected regional healthcare organization to hire an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead materials management operations within a hospital environment. This leader will oversee supply chain strategy, daily operations, budgeting, compliance, and team development to ensure efficient, high quality support for clinical and administrative departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all materials management and supply chain functions to meet organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement departmental plans, standards, and performance objectives.
  • Oversee daily operations including service levels, technology utilization, and issue resolution.
  • Lead staffing activities: hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, corrective actions, and ongoing education.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners including vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager or Director in a hospital or healthcare setting .
  • Strong leadership, communication, and operational management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, optimize workflows, and lead high performing teams.
  • Experience with healthcare supply chain systems, compliance requirements, and vendor management.
