Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to support and refine the financial operations of a growing hospitality and property management company.

In addition to maintaining accurate records across multiple accounts and clients, you will be expected to evaluate our current workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, and scalability.

Our structure includes multi-client tracking and operational complexity. This requires strong organizational thinking, adaptability, and the ability to work within evolving systems.

**Responsibilities**

* Record and classify financial transactions
* Maintain accurate books within accounting platforms
* Track and reconcile client-level balances across multiple categories
* Manage billable expenses and pending reimbursements per client
* Perform end-of-month reconciliations across bank accounts and general ledger
* Support internal reporting and financial tracking
* Review current accounting workflows and recommend improvements
* Assist in implementing more efficient systems and processes over time

**Requirements**

* Proven experience in bookkeeping for small businesses or service-based companies
* Strong understanding of multi-client or segmented accounting structures
* Hands-on experience with accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, Wave or similar)
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient with time
* Ability to work independently and adapt to non-standard workflows
* Strong communication and professionalism

**Nice to Have**

* Experience with property management or hospitality accounting
* Familiarity with PMS platforms such as Guesty, Hostaway, Lodgify or others
* Experience with trust accounting or client fund management
* Background in real estate, construction, or project-based operations
