Job Title: Chemical Operator

Pay: $20+/hr

Schedule: Training on 1st Shift → Permanent 2nd or 3rd Shift

Job Type: Full-Time

We are hiring a Chemical Operator on behalf of our client, Jainchem , a chemical manufacturing company. This is a hands-on manufacturing role working with production batches, materials, and equipment in a safety-focused environment.

New hires will complete approximately 90 days of training on 1st shift , then transition to a permanent 2nd or 3rd shift position .

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures, GMP, and work instructions
• Read and follow batch sheets and SOPs
• Review SDS sheets to understand chemical hazards
• Verify correct materials before starting production batches
• Operate production equipment to complete batches
• Complete batch documentation and production paperwork
• Work with Quality Control to ensure product specifications are met
• Properly label raw materials and finished goods
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in production areas
• Load and unload tankers
• Ensure proper identification of tanks, totes, and drums
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process abnormalities

Qualifications

• Chemical manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow detailed batch instructions and documentation
• Reliable and safety-focused
